Who you are:

Are you passionate about painting the vision of a new way for fleets to operate? We are looking for a Sales Executive to perform outbound prospecting and lead generation, through to closing of deals and handing off to the Customer Success Team.

The Sales Executive (SE) is responsible for selling a defined portfolio of solutions (for example vehicle telematics and dash cameras, plus more) for the SMB fleet market segments. The SE will cultivate and expand new client relationships by gaining sound understanding of clients’ business challenges and goals through conducting effective client engagements and build relationships at the senior level to set account and department strategy. The SE is responsible for developing new business and strategic partnerships, and to execute on the new business strategy and acquire / close new business to meet set revenue targets.

Located in Canada. Ontario and/or the GTA preferred.

Note that this position’s compensation is Base + Commission, based on sales targets achieved, as listed in Schedule 1 – Compensation. Meeting the sales targets of 2,500 subscriptions could result in over $200,000 in compensation.

What you bring:

  • A consultative approach with solving your customer’s business challenges
  • Technologically inclined – knowledge in use of cloud based platforms such as Office365, Zoho CRM, RingCentral
  • Fluent in English
  • Able to follow process flows
  • Knowledge in commercial fleet standards and regulations in North America is preferred but not required
  • Exceptional at managing expectations through clear and concise communication, both orally and in writing (over the phone, via email)
  • Critical thinking skills, challenging the status quo, striving for advancement of processes and systems
  • Adaptable, excited by change and constant improvement
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Personal sense of responsibility to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, and to provide excellent quality of work
  • Proactively engage in professional development
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Required : High School completion + College / University
  • Preferred : Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent experience
  • Required: 5+ years experience selling to B2B and/or professional services setting
  • Preferred Industry Experience: Technology, Fleet Solutions, Telematics
  • Proven track record of sales success driving revenue through discovering, prospecting, and creating new business

What success looks like:

  • Prospect and follow leads through sales pipeline until deal is closed and handed off to Customer Success Team / Account Executive
  • Meet / exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Input and update prospect data and communication notes into CRM
  • You will coordinate closely with the VP, Business Development on a weekly basis to provide updates on prospects and movement of prospects through the sales pipeline, providing probability of closing and estimated revenues, among other metric updates
  • Come up with creative and strategic ideas on how to increase prospect closing rate
  • Advise on business strategy from a sales perspective to help achievement of short and long term goals
  • Contribute to the success of a rapidly growing and evolving organization
